An Oswaldtwistle man has been found dead under a canal bridge between junction six and seven of the M65 motorway.
Police said they received a call from the ambulance services stating that the body of a 51-year-old man had been discovered on an embankment, at just after 4.30pm on Saturday.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
