A WANDERING peacock thrilled residents at a home for Alzheimer's patients when it took residence as their new pet.
The colourful creature surprised staff and residents at Heather House when it walked in to the garden at the Shearbank Road, Blackburn, home.
Senior carer Gemma McGuire said: "I wonder if he will bring us luck.
"It is great for the residents. But although it is a great pet it must belong to someone."
