BRAND new postboxes have been installed in newsagents in Burnley and Padiham for Lancashire Evening Telegraph readers to keep us in touch with any local news.

Our offices in Keirby Walk, Burnley, are now closed, but Barnaby Fudge in Parker Lane, Burnley, and Brenda's News in Burnley Road, Padiham, have agreed to be a point of contact between us and our readers.

Competition entries, prize crosswords and any items of news can be dropped into the special postboxes in both newsagents and will collected up and taken to our office in High Street, Blackburn.

So if you have something you would like to see in your Telegraph, drop it into either shop. The box will be collected every Monday.

Habib Patel, 43, owner of Barnaby Fudge, said: "It's a pleasure to have one of the boxes in our store.

"I think it's a good idea because we are in a busy, prime location in the town centre which will make it easy for readers to drop in."
