Police have revealed that an accident in Accrington which saw a six-year-old girl knocked down at the weekend is not being treated as a hit and run.
Officers said that the motorcyclist involved in the incident, at the junction of Eastgate and Burnley Road on Saturday lunchtime, was stopped at the scene and investigations are continuing.
The victim of the collision was treated at Blackburn Royal Infirmary but was released with minor injuries.
