RESIDENTS in the Spring Hill and Central wards of Accrington are being invited to take part in a spring clean up.
Funding has been found to pay for skips to put around the two wards for people to fill up with rubbish.
At a meeting of Central and Spring Hill Area Council, where the £770 funding for the scheme was approved, Councillor Pam Barton, said: "We want to do a spring clean up, but it is a question of where we put them.
"If anyone would wants one in their area we would like them to let us know."
