A DELEGATION of Mexican education chiefs visited a Rossendale school to learn lessons from their British counterparts.
A group of five Mexican teachers dropped in at St Nicholas' CE Primary School in Newchurch as part of a trip organised by the British Council to promote the borough.
The party, headed by the Mexican director of education, spoke to teachers and pupils to find out how the curriculum is implemented and what the children think of the learning experience.
The director of education for Mexico was welcomed by the Mayor of Rossendale, Coun Jeff Cheetham.
