RE Coun Hussain Akhtar comments on the peaceful march (LET, February 20).
Is this the same Coun Akhtar who some years ago wrote to the LET calling for a fatwah against the author Salman Rushdie?
Can Coun Akhtar explain why cartoons published in Denmark 26 weeks ago all of a sudden cause so much excitement here, especially since they have never been published here?
I don't recollect a march either in protest or showing sympathy at the time of the London atrocities in July last year.
