A POST mortem examination has revealed a man who collapsed in a theatre bar minutes before TV's Tony Robinson came on stage died of natural causes.
John Chapman, 48, of Union Street, Clitheroe, fell to the ground in the bar of Burnley Mechanics Theatre last Wednesday night after suffering a heart attack.
He never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead later that night in Burnley General Hospital.
He was due to see Tony Robinson, best known as Baldrick in the BBC comedy Blackadder, in the first night of his one-man touring show.
Burnley's coroner was informed of the incident and a post mortem examination carried out, but the natural cause of death means there will be no inquest.
