LANCASTER City boss Peter Ward reckons he will need a new phone as his current mobile is in danger of being worn out by the amount of time he is spending on it.
Ward is desperately trying to ring in his new era at Giant Axe by bringing new faces into his small squad to address the current slump.
"I can't wait to see my phone bill or rather I can wait for that," says Ward, who is remaining upbeat despite Saturday's defeat to Hyde United.
"We have a small squad and up until recently we have been very lucky with injuries and suspensions but they are starting to bite now and it is difficult.
"That's why I am trying to bring new players in but they have to be at the right price and good enough for our league."
Ward is remaining coy about potential targets but hopes to have strengthened in time for Saturday's big trip to Moor Green, which is followed by Tuesday's Giant Axe clash with Workington.
