BLACKBURN glam/punk band The Exorsisters aren't the tightest musical outfit you'll ever see and their lead singer Kurt Kruger will never be voted as the world's best vocalist.
But they still have their very own unique X factor.
Their raw energy, punk guitars and an assortment of catchy numbers -- all rolled out by five mates all having a laugh with their fans -- makes for an irresistible cocktail.
Having replaced the stage show dresses for a uniform black, frontman Kurt's look is now more Lou Reed than Lily Savage.
And with a new guitarist Marco now cemented in the line-up, there is a sense of musical maturity growing within the group.
Although there was no ripping the heads off dolls, the theatrical performance remains as unpredictable as ever. Just ask the lad showered in pint of beer or the female fan carried from the back over Kurt's shoulder, or the 6ft 6in bloke who found the singers sitting in his arms during one song. It's madness but we loved it.
Old favourites like Kill Barbie and Manakin still bring the best response the crowd, while the strength of newer tunes like Gimme Some More suggests the band have much to look forward to in the New Year.
