Experienced coach, Asa Hartford, will join Simon Grayson's backroom staff this week as first team coach, Andy Welsh, takes up a new post at a top premiership club.
Hartford, a former Stockport and Shrewsbury manager and long-term Manchester City coach, was recommended by assistant boss Tony Parkes.
Welsh agreed to help Simon Grayson on a short term basis when the caretaker boss took over last month but has now agreed to work with some of Manchester United's top young players.
