TWO people were arrested yesterday after police found 20 cannabis plants in a house.
Officers raided a house in Cotswold Mews, Highercroft, Blackburn, after tips were passed to Crimestoppers from the public.
A man, 40, and a woman, 48, were arrested on the suspicion of possession with intent to supply.
Police said around 20 mature cannabis plants were found in an upstairs bedroom.
PC Gareth Brooks, said: "The message is very clear from the community that they don't want drugs in their neighbourhoods."
The pair arrested were today being questioned at Greenbank Police Station, Whitebirk.
