THE Football Association have confirmed they are now scrutinising the referee's report into last Saturday's tunnel bust-up following the 2-1 defeat to Leeds United.
An FA spokesman confirmed they had received match official Mike Dean's version of events in the Turf Moor tunnel, where United manager Kevin Blackwell alleges that midfielder Shaun Derry was "attacked" by a Burnley player in an incident that left his player needing five stitches to a cut above the left eye.
The FA spokesman said: "The referee's report is now in our possession and we are giving it consideration before deciding on our next course of action."
