THREE hot new Lancashire bands appear on Power Overload, a blistering new CD featuring twenty of the best breakthrough acts from the north west.
Preston-based The KBC and Chorley bands The Deadbeats and Former Bullies contribute tracks to the compilation put together by Manchester fanzine, record label and club night High Voltage.
Dance-punks The KBC and alt-rockers Former Bullies were among the bands chosen to play at Manchester's In The City international music conference recently, while The Deadbeats won a national competition to play at Glastonbury Festival this summer.
Former Bullies, who have supported Nine Black Alps in the past, are also among the bands playing at the album's launch party, which takes place at Manchester's Music Box on November 9.
The Power Overload CD is out on November 7 priced £5.99.
