THERE are many reasons why the so called Northern route has been chosen, not just the newts.
I fear Ms Smith MP's evidence to support her contentions are about as well founded as Tony Blair's evidence for 'Weapons of Mass Destruction'.
I also fear that Ms Smith has forgotten that Skerton, Bolton-le-Sands and Carnforth are all in her constituency and will benefit from the Northern route along with Morecambe and Heysham.
If, by the next election, a Heysham - M6 link is not under construction I will hold Ms Smith responsible and not vote for her again.
