TROUBLED Tory candidate Hugh Neil came under more fire today.
A bosses' organisation is to write to the Hyndburn Conservative representative telling him to stop claiming he is a member when he parted company with them more than four years ago.
In a CV dated February this year Hugh Neil describes himself as a member of the Institute of Directors.
London-based institute secretary Mr John Parry-Wingfield said: "He is not a member. He ceased to be a member in 1991.
"We will write to him saying will you please stop describing yourself as a member."
The inaccuracy has been exposed during a probe into the career and qualifications of the international management consultant who faces a de-selection meeting in the New Year.
A dossier of alleged discrepancies on Mr Neil's CVs dating back several years is being compiled by Hyndburn Conservative Association and North West area officers.
Meanwhile 32-year-old Mr Neil refused to answer questions about alleged anomolies saying he had to double check with his lawyers before issuing a statement.
Conservative association chairman Miss Win Frankland said: "It's like doing a jigsaw. Every time you put a piece in another piece appears."
Mr Neil's CV issued earlier this year lists Doctor of Business Administration (DBA): Manchester Business School/Harvard Business School. He does not hold a DBA from Manchester University. He was a student there.
The same biography, dated February 1995, gives an office address of Manchester Business School followed by phone and fax numbers.
A spokeswoman said: "He was a temporarily registered student during the 1994/95 academic year and completed the foundation year of a DBA programme her. He is not a registered student any more."
