CHRISTMAS shoppers were left without public transport on one of the busiest days of the year as bus crews met for a three hour union meeting.
And Hyndburn busmen threatened chaos if problems in the run up to deregulation of buses next September were not ironed out.
Transport and General Workers' Union branch secretary Alan Greenwood said an overtime ban would be imposed if their complaints were not met with a satisfactory solution.
