MY appeal here (Letters, December 4) and to the officials of Green Park Retired Gentlemen's Bowling Club, Blackburn, regarding my missing property drew a blank.
Because of a mix-up, I am, therefore, minus a nearly-new wet weather suit (of great sentimental value) and, in its place, I am left with a bag of jumble.
This sort of thing is unheard of in the best of bowling circles as these situations are usually sorted out post-haste.
After all, we are all pensioners and members of the Retired Gentlemen's League, but apparently some are less gentlemanly than others.
