PAUL Hannon could be the missing £14m National Lottery jackpot winner - and he's utterly devastated!

For the 21-year-old part-time barman, says he picked the six money-spinning numbers . . . but he's lost his ticket.

Paul ransacked his flat in search of the ticket. He's even got his workmates at the Roxy Nightclub, Darwen, on the look-out.

"If anyone can find my ticket and I have won the big jackpot, they can have a share," pleaded Paul.

"I'm kicking myself. It's so frustrating, knowing my chance of owning millions could slip through my fingers."

Paul bought his ticket the day before the draw.

But he can't remember whether he left the ticket at work on Friday night or if it is somewhere in his flat.

"My girlfriend is calling me all sorts of names for losing the ticket," Paul moaned. "But I bet she'd love me even more if I was a millionaire."

If Paul's ticket turns up and he claims the big prize, £14m could earn him £2,000 a day interest at the bank.

And the car he's pictured with, a 3.2 Jaguar Sport, would be a drop in the ocean at £66,000.

Matthew Haythornwhite, sales assistant at Mead of Blackburn, who supplied the car for our photograph, said: "The car's waiting for him if he does find his ticket."

He added with a smile: "But I certainly wouldn't admit to losing it if I thought I had the winning numbers!"

Lottery organisers Camelot say they know where and when the ticket was bought, but are keeping quiet until the winner comes forward. The highest unclaimed prize so far is £67,000.
