HUNDREDS of anxious brewery workers were today expecting an announcement from company bosses about their future.
Rumours were rife at Blackburn giant Thwaites that jobs were to be lost, but the company had so far refused to confirm or deny workers' suspicions that the 400 strong workforce was to be cut.
A meeting between management and shop stewards was to be held today.
