GLADIATORS star Saracen muscled his way into the Town Hall to take tea and sandwiches in the mayor's parlour.
He is playing Little John in Robin Hood, this year's pantomime now playing at King George's Hall, and joined the other members of the cast in accepting the invitation to the mayor's parlour.
The tea party used to be an annual event for the cast, but the tradition died out about ten years ago and was only re-introduced this year by the mayor, Coun Maureen Bateson.
