ASDA'S Grimshaw Park branch in Blackburn has earmarked 150 cans of a special Christmas dinner dog food for the RSPCA centre at Altham.
The store's customer services manager Linda McCaffrey said: "The cans are wrapped in a Christmas design, so they are no use to us.
"We decided the kindest thing to do was to give them to the local branch of the RSPCA."
Converted for the new archive on 14 July 2000. Some images and formatting may have been lost in the conversion.
