IPSWICH Town boss George Burley is sweating on the availability of international duo Craig Forrest and Frank Yallop for Tuesday night's FA Cup third round replay at Ewood.

Both men lined up against Blackburn Rovers in the first meeting at Portman Road.

But, since then, they have joined Canada's CONCACAF Cup campaign.

And if the Canadians qualify for the next stage of the tournament, being staged in America, the vastly-experienced duo will miss Tuesday's replay.

Ipswich boss George Burley is anxiously awaiting news of whether the international pair will be staying on in Los Angeles for the next stage, or travelling back to England over the weekend.

Canada have already beaten Honduras 3-1, with both goalkeeper Forrest and defender Yallop in the side

Yallop and Forrest have figured in more than 500 games between them for Ipswich.

If Forrest were to miss out, Ipswich will call-up veteran keeper Clive Baker, who was on duty against Crystal Palace this afternoon.

Yallop's absence would mean a reshuffle, with Mick Stockwell going to full back and Paul Mason a likely contender for midfield.

Mason joined Ipswich from Aberdeen a few years ago after coming under fierce scrutiny from Rovers at the time.

Ray Harford won't shirk from making big decisions on team selection - even though he knows it could cause him problems as he aims for the twin targets of FA Cup success and a UEFA Cup place.

"No-one's going to be happy if they are not in the team. The important thing is how they handle it," said the manager.

"It's a problem that Kevin Keegan and others have got.

"To be a big club you have to have as many players as you can, but it is very difficult to keep them all happy.

"You only hope that if you win that lessens the argument that they should be in the team instead of the other fella."

DAVID Ginola is determined to stay with Newcastle and help steer them towards the Premiership title.

Worried fans have pleaded with the French star not to desert them after he was sent-off against Arsenal in the Coca-Cola Cup defeat at Highbury.

However, he will take his place in the side against Coventry at Highfield Road tomorrow.

Stewards for the executive areas at Ewood are asked to report between 5pm and 5-30pm for the Ipswich game on Tuesday. All other matchday stewards should report for duty no later than 5-45pm.
