LOVING couple Roy and Julieta Llewellyn may be thousands of miles apart but they're determined to be together one day.

Filipino Julieta was given a deportation order last year for being an illegal immigrant.

The couple, from Willows Lane, in Accrington, travelled to the Philippines in December to be interviewed by government officials over Julieta's legal return to England.

Now Roy, who has lived with Julieta in England for more than six years, is back in Accrington.

He said: "This whole episode has put an incredible strain on our lives but I want them to know that they'll never part us.

"Julieta broke down when I packed to return to Accrington but I had to come back to collect vital documents."

He added: "In our attempt to stay together, we have spent over £4,000 travelling from country to country.

"But there's still a chance Julieta will be legally allowed to live in England."

During the couple's time in Accrington Roy spent time in jail for providing Julieta with a false passport and she was issued with two deportation orders.
