A DRAMATIC late penalty from near the half-way line by Barry Greenwood gave Preston team Hoppers a draw (13:13) against Solihull which they more than deserved in an entertaining match in which the home side in particular played a great deal of good rugby.
Nick Bell gave them an early lead with a penalty and drop goal putting Birmingham Solihull ahead.
Just before half time they were given a gift of a try at a line-out near the Hoppers' line. The conversion made it 13-3 to the visitors.
Hoppers dominated the second half and were rewarded for their pressure with a try by Glyn Dewhurst and converted by Greenwood - who then fired over his late penalty.
Next Saturday Hoppers have a rearranged home fixture against Fylde - kick off 1pm. Rugby union by Les Anson
