EAST Lancashire teachers today welcomed the salvaging of the provisional settlement of the year-long pay dispute in eight hours of talks at the conciliation service.
While the deal was now expected to be ratified, teachers in the area were seeking clarification over voluntary duties.
A spokesman for the NASUWT said that teachers wanted to see an end to the disruption.
