It does seem strange that both our MPs once again have been very silent with regard to criticising the Government (in particular to do with the findings of the Scott Report).
Why should they criticise the Government of which they are a part I hear you ask. Why should they not throw their weight fully behind the Whitehall mandarins and cabinet members with regard to this lengthy inquiry over the sales of arms to Iraq? Because despite all word fencing from the spin doctors we all know that a lie is a lie no matter how unintentional the duplicitous nature of the statement.
Come on Dame Elaine and Sir Mark let's have your views - let us know that you think the same as we do in that the Government was bang out of order.
