THE FUTURE of the North West will be on the agenda at a major conference featuring top speakers.
Derek Green, managing director of United Utilities, will be among the guests representing industry, the Government and the European Commission at the one-day event, 'North West England: Forward to the Next Millennium.' The aim of the conference is to look at the issues facing the region, including regional, national and European challenges. Delegates will be encouraged to contribute in workshop sessions on transport links, inward investment, skills and training etc.
The Duke of Westminster will also be attending the conference on March 13, which is organised by the North West Partnership and the North West Regional Association of Local Authorities.
