WHITBREAD'S Samlesbury brewery has been given the key of the door!
A key to the new Marriott Hotel in Preston has been lodged with the brewery to symbolise it is open for business 24 hours a day.
VIPs including Tom Finney attended the ceremony to hand over the key to brewery manager David Hudson. Whitbread has spent £2.5 million on developing the hotel at Broughton.
