THE eyes have it for a student from Preston, Emmalou Johnson.
For the attractive 19-year-old (pictured) has just won the regional heat of the 1996 Miss Beautiful Eyes competition.
Emmalou, who studies Media and Business at Manchester University, took part in the competition in the hope of getting noticed as a model.
She said: "A lot of people comment on my eyes because they are different colours. I didn't really expect to get this far, but I hoped to."
The crowning of Miss Beautiful Eyes next month will launch National Eye Safety Week (April 8-14).
