CLITHEROE pair Paul Dwyer and Stuart Andrew pushed Wayne Riley and Gary Smith all the way before going down 2 and 1 in the third round of the Sunningdale Foursomes.
Australian Riley is a recent winner of the Portugese Open and former Scottish Open champion.
