A THREE way battle for the World Superbike title emerged from Sunday's fifth round at the Brno circuit in the Czech Republic where Australian Troy Corser dominated both races.

Corser was in devastating form on his Promotor Ducati but it was his championship rivals, Catrol Honda pair Aaron Slight and Carl Fogarty who completed the rostrum in both 19-lap races around the 3.35-mile circuit.

Corser won the opening race and defending champion Fogarty pipped his team mate Slight for second place.

"I tried to make the break from Aaron but he clawed me back so I settled for second knowing Aaron was on my back wheel," said Fogarty who celebrates his 30th birthday today.

Slight was happy to take a comfortable second place ahead of Fogarty in the second race to maintain his championship lead.

"Brno was a track which we though we might struggle on but we haven't and it sets up the rest of the season nicely," said 30 year old Slight from Masterton, New Zealand.
