SENIOR master Alan Scholes will leave Burnley's Barden High School for the last time this week after working there for 29 years.
Mr Scholes, of Cliviger, started at the school as a teacher before being promoted to senior master. He has taught science, music and physical education.
He was involved with the community side of the school as well as helping with school trips around Britain.
He is a member of Mount Zion Church and is looking forward to spending his retirement gardening.
