READING David Southworth's screaming, abusive name-calling in his letter "New Labour Dreams", I actually believed I was listening to the hysterics of his hero Arthur Scargill, who was also full of hot air.

As for most readers agreeing with the description of my letters as "regular and tedious", I think he should speak for himself.

Finally, "New Labour", which has the people with it, is moderate but not Conservative in any way, shape or form.

If David Southworth would stop calling for revolution he would see that.

But, just like his idol, that kind of sense wouldn't penetrate his logic, would it?

Incidentally, ask the Nottinghamshire miners why they split from good old Arthur's battalions.

There lies a story in itself.
