ROOM at the Inn saved Burnley's rain-soaked St Monday Festival.
The Weavers' Triangle outdoor event seemed set to sink under heavy downpours.
But the management of the new canalside pub, The Inn of the Wharf, threw open their doors to provide a warm welcome for the event.
As a result, supporters flocked in and the 16th festival proved one of the best-ever.
Stallholders, circus entertainers and Burnley Alliance Junior Band all moved under cover to ensure the festival went without a hitch.
"We are extremely grateful to the Inn for their hospitality," said an organiser.
"They certainly saved the day."
