YOUNGSTERS from Pendle Junior Civic Choir have been on a marathon training weekend to rehearse for the Great Singers Series.
They are taking part in concerts which five of the world's greatest opera singers are to give in Colne, to support the choir's trip to Canada next year.
The first concert in the series is at St Thomas', Barrowford, on October 19 with England's foremost buffo baritone Andrew Shore.
