I SEE that it's that time of year again when local breweries start whingeing about people who buy foreign beers. I suppose the encroaching festive season has nothing to do with this.
They would be entitled to a more sympathetic hearing if they were to take their own advice. It may have escaped their notice that another major industry in this country has faced closure due to the fact that people have not patronised the local product.
What am I on about? Next time you see a Thwaites lorry have a look to see what nationality it is!
