PORTER Matthews & Marsden has become only the second accountancy firm in East Lancashire in its field to receive Investors in People.
The firm, now more widely known as PM&M, employs more than 60 staff at offices in Blackburn and Burnley.
Said senior partner Jeremy Stirrup: "The whole process of Investors in People has proved to be of significant benefit and an excellent catalyst for change.
"It was a hard-nosed business decision and has already been justified commercially."
