I AM disgusted by the treatment dished out by Burnley Football Club. Our television reception has been severely disrupted since the erection of their new stands and, according to the club, it is our responsibility to correct the picture quality at our own expense.

I have already bought an aerial booster, priced at £40, and although this has marginally improved our reception, it is nowhere near the quality we previously enjoyed.

I am told that where the same problem has arisen near other football grounds, the cost of restoring good reception has been met by the clubs involved and I see no reason why Burnley FC should be any different.

They have offered some residents in the area a reduced price aerial but it seems that our house falls just outside the area deemed affected, although it has just as bad reception as those close by Turf Moor.

Has the club an obligation to rectify our problem, or can it just brush it aside as tough luck?
