ROVERS fan Mike Goulthorp has been appointed head of a multi-million pound business servicing over 1,000 Co-op stores nationwide.
Mike, 44, of Barrowford, becomes General Manager, Buying, Merchandising and Technical Services for the £3 bn sales, Manchester-based Co-operative Wholesale Society.
Mr Goulthorp has spent his career in retailing and was previously head of CWS Meat, Poultry and Produce.
Married to Margaret, he has two sons Andrew and Duncan and, as well as Rovers, his other hobby is gardening. MIKE GOULTHORP
