LICENSEES Judith and Bernard Ledwith certainly can't be accused of burying their heads in the sand - even though they have ostrich on the menu!

For the innovative couple, who run The Red Cat in Crank, have just won their second Greenalls Catering Excellence Award in eight months.

"We were delighted to gain the award first time, but to achieve the 'double' in such a short time is really great news - having three super chefs helps!" said Judith.

As well as ostrich, The Red Cat also serves up emu, and both are proving popular with customers.

To mark their efforts, Bernard and Judith receive a commemorative plaque and an invitation to a day at the races, courtesy of Greenalls.
