RISHTON CC have agreed terms with South African star Lance Klusener to succeed Allan Donald as professional next season.

Several clubs, notably Blackpool, have been chasing the all-rounder who is currently on tour with the South African side and doing well with both bat and ball, sharing the main strike-bowling duties with last summer's Rishton pro Allan Donald.

Rod Simpson, chairman of the Lancashire League club, said today: "We have agreed everything through his agent and now it is just a question of the contract being returned to us."

Klusener toured England with the South Africa A team last summer.
