Canine-crazy Vivien Alker and her 10-year-old daughter Kara are completely dotty about dogs.
So much so, they raced to a car accessory store to buy sticky black fabric and turned the family Ford Escort into their very own Pongo-mobile after watching Walt Disney's classic children's story 101 Dalmations.
The four-wheeled work of art is a regular sight in Darwen where Vivien keeps her mechanical companion kennelled on Nancy Street.
And motorists can instantly spot Vivien's doggy designs with the name Pongo - one of the film's main character's - emblazoned across the car's boot and bonnet
The 28-year-old student said: "The car definitely turns heads, especially when I pull up at traffic lights and kids start shouting Pongo.
She went spot crazy. Her bedroom, clothes and toys are all decorated in black dots."
