REGARDING your Opinion column "Cold hearted villains should be banged up" (LET, January 28). I agree with what you wrote wholeheartedly.
Anyone who can do such a despicable thing as steal play equipment from children and toddlers with special needs, in my opinion needs to be struck down dead on the spot.
The next best thing for them is to be banged up for 24 hours a day with no privileges.
Your Opinion column the following night (right), regarding the old lady of 92 who had been burgled, was also excellent.
She obviously lost the will to live because of what happened. Her pride and independence, which she probably had all her life, certainly puts the cowards who did this to her to shame.
Thank you for making both of these articles headline news, and as regards your Opinion column, all I can say is keep up the good work.
Someone has to make an example of these scum
