AT approximately 10pm last week, I needed a doctor for my sister and rang her doctor. Answer phone, please ring this number. I rang it - another answer phone, please ring this number. I rang and BT cut in, please place a 1 behind the 0 in the code.
I rang again, this number not available. I was getting rather concerned by this time.
Call number five: I rang the police and was given a number which was not available. Call number six: I rang the police again. Try this number, if it fails ring 192.
Call number seven: In luck, I got the radio doctor and he visited within half an hour.
I ASHCROFT (Mrs), Ribble Avenue, Darwen.
