BILL Birch's letter 'Labour feeding food propaganda' appears to have touched a raw nerve, judging by the sentiments expressed.
However, the truth is that even a casual glance at Hansard over the past four years will reveal that the Tories planned to extend VAT to other commodities.
As for the asinine remarks about Janet Anderson and Tony Blair, most people know the Tory Government's record on tax and broken promises.
As Sir George Gardiner made clear in his constituency, Tories are people whose memories are very selective and who try ineptly most of the time to put the blame on others.
