DETECTIVES leading the hunt for raiders who stole £1 million from a Preston security depot, are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Since the armed attack at the Securitas unit in Roman Way Industrial Estate, Ribbleton, last Tuesday, police have interviewed around 50 people.
DCI John Thornley said the most important information to come to light was about a grey Volvo estate spotted on the hardshoulder of the M6 south-bound next to Pope Lane footbridge, near where the Landcruiser used in the raid was abandoned.
A similar Volvo was seen with three men driving in it and later found just off the A6 Wigan Road at Bamber Bridge.
Securitas has put up a £25,000 reward for information which could help net the raiders.
