WARRIORS U8s were confronted by a far more experienced side.

The Leyland team stuck to their tasks and produced some good tackling with Craig Hewlett producing three tries. Tom Parry, Jamie McMillan and best tackler Richard Brown also contributed tries. Man of the match was Lee Commick.

HINDLEY 10 WARRIORS U9s 16

A HARD-FOUGHT test with the Leyland team coming out victors. Tries by best tackler Jonathan Walker, Chris Tuson (2) and conversions by Phillip Campbell. Man of the match was Richard Simms worked well at half back.

HINDLEY 30 WARRIORS U11s 28

This was an exciting game to watch with prop forward Declan Mallom running the full length of the pitch just missing the touchline. Two tries from Hal Pedlar and tries from John Key and man of the match Graham Kelsall and James Franklin who was joint top tackler with Stuart Brown.

OLDHAM ST ANNES 44 WARRIORS U14s 32

WARRIORS, having beaten Oldham earlier in the season, were confident of victory but they didn't play to their full potential.

Tries by Daniel Wright (3), man of the match Soloman Pender (3). Ian Schofield converted and top tackler award went to Michael Smith.

ST ANNES 22 WARRIORS U13s 0

WARRIORS U13s regained their pride with a team considerably reorganised due to injuries and players unavailable. Although they lost, this return to committed rugby has been long overdue.

Man of the match was captain Matt Bennett, top tackler Danny Jones, while the forwards led by Gary Watts and Lee Byrom worked hard against a rough defence.
