MORE controversial items have been scraped together to reach the council's original £12.4 million cuts target.
New figures revealed to the Bury Times late yesterday afternoon (February 13) show that cash for primary-age children with learning disabilities is being reduced by £43,000, with the loss of three jobs.
In social services, charges are being put up again to raise another £170,000.
Some £90,000 is being cut from bedding works in local parks, and further cuts in highways maintenance and street lighting of £93,000 are proposed.
