CREAKING floorboards, a howling wind, shutters banging out an ominous warning, a cry in the night. The deadly game is afoot.
"Murder at St Mary's Manor" is the latest whodunit from Dead-Enders, Leigh's experts in murder/mystery evenings.
They will be performing the Victorian thriller at St Mary's RC High tomorrow (Friday) when about 100 would-be detectives attempt to solve a brutal and bloody crime.
Tickets (£5) include a buffet, but would-be Miss Marples and Poirots should take their own sleuthing paraphernalia - and their own booze.
Details from Steve Sherlock Cooper (876487) or Ken Columbo Hindley (884144).
But be warned - someone has to die!
